Putting a product together, with a price that updates live
Customers put their own product together: pick a size, add packages, and watch the price update live.

The challenge
The webshop sold products in several sizes, each of which could be topped up with packages of the customer’s choice. That needed more than a standard product page: the size decided how many packages fitted, and the price depended on the combination.
What I built
A configurator on the product page. The customer picked a size, added packages with plus and minus buttons, and saw the price update straight away. Each size had a minimum and maximum number of packages, so ordering an impossible combination wasn’t an option.
Behind the scenes
The shop managed sizes, packages and prices itself, in an extra tab on each product, with a live preview. Every choice carried through to the cart, the order and the API. That way each order was complete in one go for whoever processed it.
